Anyone in your physical home is welcome to attend with you. You also have the option to share this experience with someone who isn’t near — companionship has no distance.
-
For those who aren’t able to attend live. We offer a recording that holds soft somethings too. Access it anytime, in your own space, on your own time. The Something Soft bag — veil, satin pillowcase, and pillow — is available to add on and will be shipped to companion you in your experience.
-
We offer monthly cohorts, intensives, and workshops that deepen the practice, education, and embodiment of softening — into breath, body, and the different seasons of life. Our methods are designed from the care of people moving through the most emotional, physiological, and physically demanding experiences a body can know.
-
One of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is witnessing. Whether you want to be inside this experience alongside someone, or gift them the opportunity to soften with someone in their life — we will hold them as they deserve.
Gifting Softness allows you to secure their seat. We’ll make it as special as it should be — meeting them exactly where they are:
— We ship a Something Soft bag to companion them in their practice
— We send a personalized message curated for their season and circumstance
Gifting Softness allows you to pay for their seat and we will make things as special as we can with inviting them into the experience to help tie a bow where you’d like to meet them and where they are:
-We ship an our something soft bag to be along with them in their practice.
-We will send a personalized message curated for the season and circumstance you’d like softness to find them
“Ånewsün (a/new/sun) retreat is inspired by the Octavia Butler quote - “there is nothing new under the sun but there are new suns.”
I wanted a space where black women could fall apart in if they needed, space they could rest easy, where they didn’t have to take care of themselves so much. This was curated to nurture and care to every detail…so simply put Black women could just sit to sit, lay just to lay and be in leisure (free time). Perhaps in that they can experience their “new sun” amongst an intimate collective of women doing the same.”
I want to sponsor Ånewsün retreat or ask someone to sponsor me.

*I want you to know that asking for support isn’t always easy. But I want to tell you even if you do have the resources, there is no shame at all in creating an opportunity for people to help alleviate things for you. We all need to reimagine care and one of these ways is by allowing people to care for your expenses or cover your needs by letting people know the best ways to support you. Here are some things I myself and clients of mines have used to garner community and support. Please fill out the form “I want a new sun” above so we can connect & utilize our resources together!**

**Hey, (insert name). Before I begin I want to say, this isn’t easy for me to ask you this.
I am in a season in my life right now where I am realizing how much rest, and time away from my everyday responsibilities I need. I found this retreat called Ånewsün. This retreat is focused solely on rest, care, and bringing intimate collectives of women like myself together to slow sip tea, have hand-drawn baths and every single meal cooked. Along with the other offerings, this could be an opportunity for me to take a much needed breath, and to just be for a moment or two.
In this season, I am learning to lean on my village more and to be vulnerable with where I am in my wellness. With that being said for me to attend, the rate per person is $2,500 and it includes everything outside of my airfare. I am asking my community to help get me there by donating (give a number or exactly what you need even if it’s babysitting or a ride to the airport)
Thank you for being who you are to me, and for loving me in all the ways. Let me know if you can support. okay love you byyyyeee. (Insert your ending)
